Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first measurement service, to understand in aggregate how our website and free tools are used - for example page views and page loading performance. It is cookieless: it sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and does not collect or track personal identifiers or your browsing history across other sites. The metrics we receive are aggregate only and cannot be used to identify you. This applies to postboxservices.com and our tool subdomains (such as mx, dmarc, mailtester, bl, tlsrpt and security.postboxservices.com).
We also use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, which guides and tools help visitors most - for example, which pages lead people to run a check or contact us. This works on a consent basis: until you choose "Accept" in our consent prompt, Google Analytics stores nothing on your device and receives only anonymous, cookieless signals that cannot identify you or be linked across visits. If you accept, the cookies described above are set. We do not use analytics data for advertising, we do not sell it, and Google processes it on our behalf under its privacy policy; you can also block Google Analytics entirely with Google's opt-out browser add-on. Analytics data associated with an individual visitor is automatically deleted by Google after 14 months; only aggregate statistics are kept beyond that.
